Hadasah
I am
presently continuing my hospice volunteer work and coming this
Fall 2004, I will be attending SDSU for the Master of Arts in
Education with a concentration in Counseling. It is a one-year
intensive study program with 22 in class hours and 12 hours of
internship weekly.
As of
now I can only plan for my immediate future. If this year goes
well and I am not burned out, I would like to continue to reach
for the doctorate. The programs that I have been interested in
are not accredited (Mythology and Depth Psychology at Pacifica),
so I continue to search. I am also looking into the Leadership
doctorate at USD. But I truly don't know. I can only take small
bites right now.
If I
decide to go no further, with my Masters degree I can work with
non-profit organizations or on college campuses with the career
center helping students choose a field of study that suits them,
resume writing, self improvement seminars, and the like.
A distant
goal of mine is to help individuals reach enlightenment (or self-actualization)
by employing Buddhist Psychology.
